The Collierville High School women's and men's basketball teams made it clear their strengths in the 2023-24 season opener Tuesday night at Memphis' Mitchell High. Both teams did not give up a point in the first quarter and went on to defeat the Tigers 75-14 and 65-19 respectively. The scoring efforts were balanced with juniors Garrett Ross (11 points) and Hilary Shikuku (14 points) each finishing in double digits to lead their teams. The Dragons are scheduled to be back in action on Saturday in the Collierville Classic.
