Collierville Softball won big over Briarcrest Christian 13-6 on Wednesday at Forklift Field.

The Lady Dragons got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Isabella Blue Flanders singled, and Sara Depperman double, each scoring one run. Collierville added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Briarcrest committed an error and Kendall Harper doubled driving in one run.

The bats were still going in the bottom of the third as Depperman singled, Kate Hogan drove in a run on a sac fly and Kinsley Scallions grounded out, each driving in a run. The Lady Dragons were once again on the board in the bottom of the fifth when they scored five runs on four hits.

Kendall Harper earned the win for Collierville. Harper gave up eight hits and only 3 earned runs over six innings of work. In the end, Collierville tallied 12 hits in the game with five players collecting multiple hits on the night.

Collierville is next in action on Thursday night as they welcome Arlington to Forklift Field.
