The Collierville High School Water Polo Dragons entered last weekend's state tournament as the top-ranked high school team in Tennessee, with a league record of 8-2. They competed in five contests in TIWPA state championships over the weekend at the Compton Aquatic Center at St. George’s Independent School, falling in double overtime on Sunday to Marble City, 13-12, to conclude their season.

Freshman standout Will O’Connor was named TIWPA 1st team All State. Junior Landon Whalen earned 2nd team All State honors.
