After taking a lead just before the half, the Collierville High Women's Soccer team gave up a late goal with approximately 15 minutes left to play and finished in a 1-1 draw with Germantown's Houston High.
The game remained scoreless and even matched until late in the first half when Kaitlyn Lewis had a cross to Hilary Shikuku that set up Presley Williams' strike for the Dragons' goal and break the nill-nill tie.
Lucy Smith had the equalizer in the second half for the Mustangs.
Dragons Junior goalkeeper Lily Reafsnyder was given praise once again in goal.
Collierville and Houston will be a dangerous opponent in post-season play. Houston (12-0-2) and Collierville (11-1-2) will likely meet up again in a contest that a draw will not be a possible outcome. Stay tuned.
