In a battle of two of the top programs in the state, the Collierville Lady Dragon soccer team suffered a 2-1 setback at the hands of Briarcrest Christian School at Dragon Stadium Wednesday night.
Collierville did take a 1-0 lead with Ellison Suhoza's goal from Cameron Ewing's corner kick. Briarcrest would answer with a goal from Taylor Martin, assist from Natalie Howard, and then a goal from
Howard with the assist from Virginia Zanella.
Collierville (8-1) will look to get back to their winning ways next Tuesday when the team hosts the Munford Cougars.
