Mitch Austin plunged up the middle for a 1-yard touchdown with 8:01 remaining, and completed a two-point conversion pass to John Hampton, that lead to the 20-14 region opener win at Cordova on Friday night.

Collierville (4-3, 1-0) recovered an onside kick after a Caleb Myers field goal to begin the fourth quarter that changed the game's momentum.

Cordova (3-4, 0-2) got touchdown runs of 22 yards from Cameron Wimberly and 88 from Brandon Mackey. Duple Truvillion had a 1-yard touchdown run for Collierville.
