Sophomore Duple Truvillion scored on a 32-yard run deep in the fourth quarter to give new Collierville coach Joe Rocconi his first win at his alma mater.

Mitch Austin threw for 248 yards for Collierville including scoring passes of 14 yards to Andrew Smith and 58 to Scottie Alexander. Southwind senior Romal Webb had a terrific debut after transferring from Raleigh-Egypt, scoring on a 76-yard run and turning a short pass from Chris Kelly into a 90-yard score.

Collierville will host Center Hill in Week 2. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
