It’s been 21 years since a Collierville high school football alumni has started an SEC football game. The last person to do that was Kendrick Jones (Class of 91?) who played wide receiver for the University of Tennessee from 1991 to 1994 with one of his career highlights being a touchdown pass play from Peyton Manning for 76 yards against Mississippi State.

Now Hunter Bradley (Class of 2012) is the starting long snapper for Mississippi State University. Bradley, a junior for the Bulldogs has paid his dues to get where he is today. Multiple injuries hasn’t stopped him from perusing his dream to play college football. His work ethic and great attitude are reasons for his success and is the example of what every parent wants their son to be. Not just as a football player, but as a person. We congratulate the Bradley family on Hunter’s success and look forward to watching him play for the Bulldogs on Saturdays.
